Pandaemonium
was formed back in 1995 out of the ashes of a thrash band called Mad
Faith. In 1996 they released their “Sabbath Day” demo, and in 1997
another demo called “The Alchemist”. Then
in 1999 their debut album “…and the Runes Begin to Pray” was
released thru the Underground Symphony label. Now 6 years later their
second album “Return to Reality” finally sees the light of day, the
lineup has been changed with 3 men out of the band and 2 new ones in. “Return
to Reality” delivers the usual Italian mix of Rhapsody and Secret
Sphere but with a medieval twist. First of all the production is a lot
better than on the “…and the Runes Begin to Pray” album, also the
vocals from Daniel Reda have improved a lot. “Time
of Glory”, “Fires in the Sky”, “Miracle” and the instrumental
“Blazing Fire” is the best moments from “Return to Reality”,
there is also a great video to “Time of Glory” on the album. So
if you’re into Rhapsody, Secret Sphere and old Labyrinth, then check
this one out. |
